Help Keep Hoboken Clean!
"Carry a bag, a spare, and one to share"
The vast majority of Hoboken dog owners are considerate of their neighbors and pick up after their pets, and also curb them from soiling planted beds and front gates. However, just a few irresponsible dog owners in town can make life difficult for the rest of us. The HDA is an advocate for responsible dog ownership, and recognizes that we will earn more dog-friendly recreation areas if the city and parks are kept clean.
We call on all dog owners to do your part to spread the word to any dog owner you see violating the rules; carry extra bags, and politely remind others to pick up after their dog.
Also, please remind others it is against the law to deposit your dog's droppings in other people's private garbage cans. Please use public cans or your own building's containers.
